The rechristening of the institution as Shanthal Jyothi Public School on 3rd June 1996 were milestone moments in its institutional history.


Rev.Sr. Christopher S.A.B.S was the pioneering Principal of the school  from 1996 to 2001.

Shanthal Jyothi also had a very humble beginning with a strength of 113 students and three teaching staff from
LKG to Class 3. The school obtained affiliation (affiliation number 930290) with a strength of 405 students and 20 teaching staff from LKG to Class 8.

Rev.Sr. Jessy Maria S.A.B.S took charge of the school being the Principal from 2001 to 2009. There was a rapid growth when the school got expanded with new blocks and facilities. Completion and inauguration of the B block and Kids Park  took place in the year 2003.

Rev.Sr.Liza Puthenveedu took charge in 

2009 – 2018. The sports and athletic activities took a new turn with the inauguration of the indoor stadium in 2011. We got the CBSE SPORTS PROMOTION AWARD 2013 –14 .The first batch of class XII with 44 students passed out in the year 2014. Our school has been awarded the ‘International School Award 2014 – 2017’ . This award was to certify that Shanthal Jyothi Public School has been recognized for the outstanding development of International Learning in the Curriculam.

Rev.Sr.Lislin Tholanickal has taken over the responsibility as the Principal of Shanthal Jyothi Public School in 2018.
The school celebrated its Silver Jubilee in December 2019. As a token of appreciation the Indian Postal Department issued My Stamp of the Silver Jubilee Logo and special cover in the Silver Jubilee Year of the school.
The All India  Level 12th rank in 2018 , 11th rank in 2019,8th rank in 2020 & 4th rank in 2021 were secured by our school. Our school won the National award in CBSE Basketball Tournament.
Our school has been awarded with the ISO Certificate 2022 – 2025 for the excellence in the Curricular and Co-curricular areas in accordance with the requirements of ISO 21001:2018 Management Systems for Educational Organizations.

The School continues its dedicated work of enlightening young minds through quality education.
