Nava Jyothi English Medium School is the dream of SABS Congregation of Pala Province Kerala. The dream turned into reality in the year 1999 with the motto of

 “Let your Light Shine” under the guidance of Aaradhana Social Service Society (R)

The school always upholds its motto and stands high with its mission & vision.

The school is located in the panoramic beauty of nature in Kolige, Konandur, Thirthahalli,(TQ) Shimoga,(D) Karnataka(S) amidst a serene locale, quite close to Thirthahalli, a place which is very near to  the birth place of Kuppalli Venkatappa Putappa ( KUVEMPU) the Nobel and famous poet of Karnataka. 

The school discovers divine elements of the soul and to develop keen intelligence and insight. It recalls concentration of the mind and meditation of the mystery of God, man and the universe, and to maintain serenity, simplicity, sincerity and harmony in failures and success. The school encourages excellence in academics, promotes inventive thinking and upholds moral and spiritual values which enable students to think creatively, reason critically with positive thoughts and communicate effectively to the global world. The school is distinctive in moulding and shaping the students’ behaviour, character and nature. 
 
 
The school strives hard to enhance the novel ideas and qualities of students. Team NavaJyothi strives it’s best to bring out productive and fruitful outcomes. It helps students to showcase their hidden talents and helps them to groom, excel and flourish in every sphere and scale down greater heights in every respect. The school aims at individual growth and development of every child who becomes a NavaJyothian. The ultimate goal of NavaJyothi is to make its wards as the best in the world in all respects.
 
Initially the school started with a single rented room with a few students near the Grama Panchayat office Konandur with the permission of Karnataka state government and support extended by Karnataka education board, then later in the year 2000 the school started functioning with it’s own building with atmost care to provide an exemplary education to the children in and around the vicinity of Konandur with the aim of providing basic education to all rural students. At present the school has grown specious and commodious by all means to spread it’s service to a very good number of children. It provides an ambience conducive to learning and other aspirations of the learners. 
The School is easily accessible from Thirthahalli, Ripponpete and other nearby places. The school consists of grade LKG to X. It follows CBSE text book pattern for classes LKG to class V.  From class VI to X Karnataka State Board text book syllabi as well. 
 
  As a co-educational institution, the School promotes a wide range of curricular and co-curricular activities, making learning a pleasant and promising experience. Here the students imbibe spiritual virtues and moral values which lead them to a brighter vision and higher mission. The School has the rare distinction of providing modern infrastructural facilities, well-qualified and experienced faculty members, skilled professionals as managerial staff and committed supporting staff as well under the direct patronage & supervision of the SABS Pala Province.
